1. Porto & the Douro Valley, Portugal
Portugal’s second largest city is the perfect destination for a day trip. There are famous Port houses such as Taylor’s, W &J Graham’s, Fonseca Porto, and Casa Ramos Pinto. Ciinque Terre is a magnet for hikers because hiking through the five villages along the coastline has beautiful views of the water and the architecture of buildings off the cliffs. There is a secret beach that only locals know about in the smallest of the five towns, Corniglia.
5. Moravia, Czech Republic
This spot is known for bike tours and wine tasting. It’s a lot slower pace than Prague, which makes it authentic and unique to that area. It is also known to be the best-preserved and most historic part of the country.
