The Hot New Features in All-Inclusives

All-inclusive resorts are very popular and the existing properties are upping their ante on the already luxurious products. They are renovating and expanding their facilities, and adding special, one of a kind features. Travelers are now able to also calculate their total vacation costs before stepping out their doors. What’s new and improved at some of the all-inclusive will make you want to call your travel agent immediately. Here’s a quick look.

AMResort

AMResorts: Secrets The Vine Cancun is to open in August. The development introduces the first Secrets and Now properties to the destination and represents Puerto Vallarta’s first new construction. Each new property features AMResorts’ signature Unlimited-Luxury vacation concept. They are offering a great selection of upgraded Preferred Club accommodations, buffet, and a la carte restaurants, bars, the spa and fitness center, and meeting space. It is a family friendly Now Amber resort which has a daily Explorers’ Club program for kids 3 to 12, in addition to a Core Zone center for teens.

Club Med

Club Med: The new refurbishment of Club Med Sandpiper Bay in Port St. Lucie, Florida has been unveiled with anew L’Occitane Spa-the first in North America. Along with this unique upgrade is a new fitness center, redesigned clubhouse, and enhanced golf course. The 5,000 square feet spa features seven treatment rooms. One is designed just couples massages, a manicure and pedicure area; a Zen lounge; and a L’Occitaine boutique with over 80 products. The spa services range from facials and massages to Cheek facials for guests 8 to 17. A yoga program is also offered, as well as new Life Fitness equipment.
The 18-hole golf course onsite has a revamped driving range which is part of a Tom Fazio II-designated practice facility. The clubhouse features a lounge, retail space, club fitting, video analysis and indoor training. Club Med Academics also features 21 tennis courts and a Fit Performance Academy. This makes Club Med Sandpiper Bay the company’s flagship “premium sports” resort and the only all-inclusive in the United States.
Onsite there are also two new restaurants, a bar and lounge, four swimming pools (including an adult only infinity pool and a lap pool), conference and meeting facilities, a waterfront wedding gazebo and freshly enhanced accommodations. The new Kidz Village can be enjoyed by the kids, it features a splash park, the Britto Art Center, and the tween and teen lounge.

Iberostar

Iberostar: After the renovation of the former Hilton Cancun, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts officially introduce the 426 room Iberostar Cancun premium gold resort. The resort now includes renovated public spaces, a theater and new restaurant, including a buffet and four specialty dining venues- a gourmet restaurant, a steakhouse, and a Japanese and Mexican restaurant. Kids and teens clubs were also constructed, as well as a splash park for children. The 12- treatment room spa was enhanced, as well were the lobby and lobby bar.
Iberostar Cancun is the only resort in the destination with ocean front meeting facilities, with an onsite 18-hole golf course. You can also find seven swimming pools, a professional football field and two tennis courts.

The Hard Rock Resort Cancun

The Palace Resorts launched the All-Inclusive collection with properties including the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana, Cancun, Vallarta, and Rivera Maya. This all-inclusive collection also announced plans for a new kids club
Both the Hard Rock Cancun and Vallarta will offer the signature Rock Star Suites and showcase a collection of memorabilia from international and local music artists. Both properties will also feature a Rock Spa, encompassed to give guest a musical experience. In addition an ongoing schedule of live concerts, celebrity-driven events and other exciting activates will be hosted.

Riu Cancun

Riu: Riu Hotels and Resorts opened its fourth Cancun property in early May. The luxury beachfront Riu Palace Peninsula has 562 rooms, six specialty restaurants, a main international buffet, seven bars and villas. Also offered are windsurfing, kayaking and snorkeling. A full entertainment program is provided during the day and the fun keeps going with live performances are every night.

Sandals: Officially unveiled by Sandals Resorts is the Balmoral Tower at Sandals Royal Bahamian. Balconies were added to the beachfront rooms and suites offering direct ocean views. Suites also allow guests to go directly from their private patios to the pool deck. The pool area now features relaxing lounge areas with fire pits.
