I am very excited about some specialty and theme cruises and trips that we are doing. On October 2 we are inviting passengers to book on cruises out of NY to see fall foliage at it’s peak in New England and Canada. I live in Connecticut and feel that it’s the most beautiful time of the year in this region. The colors are just so spectacular. I love the cool crisp air, the smells and tastes of fall — I love pumpkin picking and apple picking with my daughters, the taste of hot apple cider with all of the spices. As much as I love summer and hate to see it end, I really enjoy all that fall has to offer here in New England. And, to be able to see it on a cruise ship is spectacular. No packing and unpacking, all of the luxuries and incredible service on board the ship, the beautiful, laid-back sightseeing. It is a real treat for the senses after a hectic summer. In fact we were just in Newport, RI, one of the many ports this itinerary includes and it was glorious. More about Newport later. I’d love to hear from you, your views on fall foliage and cruising.
